Asia Pop Comicon Manila 2016: Here?s What to Expect in the Ultimate Fan Experience

On August 26 – 28, Asia Pop Comicon Manila will bring you the ultimate fan experience as they gather some of the biggest names in the comic and anime industry. Expect to see some of your favorite comic artists, music idols, cosplayers and some serious collectors? exhibits. It?s an event that any fan would certainly dream of going to. And we get to go! So watch out for our live updates on those days!

Last year?s international celebrity guests include Paul Bettany, Age of Ultron?s Vision and Game of Thrones? Nathalie Emmanuel, Colton Haynes, Mark Salling, and Allison Harvard.

For this year, Asia Pop Comicon Manila 2016 announced it?s initial lineup of guests such as comic artists: Billy Tan (Green Lantern), Ken Lashley (Uncanny X-Men), Mike Zeck (Secret Wars), and Whilce Portacio (Bishop, X-Men). Also, renowned singer Hiroshi Kitadani of anime music supergroup JAM project, will grace the event and perform songs from the One Piece soundtrack.

The event is set to host The CAGE – Cosplay Authority Global Challenge. The Manila leg cosplay competition will be judged by Alodia Gosiengfiao and Myrtle Abigail Sarrosa; with special guests: Ani Mia, Lindze Merrit, Riddle, and Yugana Senshi Uon. Winner of The CAGE gets $24,000!

Beauty and Lifestyle Video Blogger, Say Tioco, will have a fan-meet and perhaps a short hair and makeup tutorial.

Toy artist Simone Legno, creator of Tokidoki, will also have a booth exhibit featuring recent toy exclusives that were launched at the San Diego Comic Con. That?s Including the limited edition Unicorno Series 1 Blind Box.
