Matt Ryan will reprise his role as John Constantine in Arrow Season 4 and will revive Sara Lance aka Black Canary back to life. Constantine?s appearance comes as a necessity as actress Caity Lotz will need to be revived as Sara Lance will appear in the upcoming DC Legends of Tomorrow.
?It was born more out of the storyline for Sara Lance,? Arrow Executive Producer Wendy Mericle said. ?We needed someone to come in and help bring her back,? she said as Sara Lance will appear as White Canary in the CW TV show DC Legends of Tomorrow.
Constantine Is Back
Constantine will be making a one-time appearance on the fourth season of Arrow in its fifth episode titled ?Haunted?, IGN reported. It is still unknown how Constantine will make an appearance in the show and how big his presence is in the episode. The only thing known so far is that Constantine will be providing support to arrow and his traits, clothing, and everything the character was on his cancelled show will be retained.
?He is coming in fully as who he was on the show,? Mericle said.? ?We?re getting wardrobe. We?re very excited to have him. He?s a tremendous actor. It?s so cool to have that cross-pollination. We are very lucky and DC was very generous letting us have him.?
This season of arrow will introduce magic and mysticism which fully opens a chance for Constantine to make a ?one-off? appearance, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenhein said in a statement.
Ryan followed-up the announcement of his appearance through a video message, HollywoodReporter reported.

Why Should You Be Excited?

Having an anti-hero (Constantine) join Arrow?s team will be interesting to see, they reported.
Constantine was canceled in February 2015 and only ran a total of 13 episodes, Masterherald reported.
