One of the biggest updates for Studio Wildcard’s survival crafting game launched recently and those on the Ark bore witness to a big event in-game. After the Ascension, players are probably wondering what’s coming next and how the developer could top the recent major update. Lucky for players, there are still a few things to expect in Ark Survival Evolved.
Studio Wildcard is far from done with Ark Survival Evolved as a slew of content is still headed to the game. Just this May 30, v258 will launch and it will have quite a few features in it already. After that, there are still more exciting features to look out for.
Ark Survival Evolved v258
The next update for the game launching later this month will add a slew of new content. However, there aren’t any major new features to be added unlike the volcano remodelling in the previous update. One of the additions in the next update will hand players a harpoon gun. This upcoming weapon is expected to be one of the best choices when it comes to underwater combat.
As for new creatures, there will be five newly added monsters in v258. The Hyaenodon, Hesperonis, Megatherium, Megalania and Yutyrannus are the upcoming enemies.
When it comes to new features, one of the anticipated gameplay additions to lookout for is Boss Wars. We’ve yet to know how Boss Wars will work but players are speculating that it will be a PvP mode that players will get to enjoy more, if they’ve managed to beat most of the game’s bosses.
Basically, players could be allowed to use the bosses they’ve beaten in the game in a PvP mode that features the bosses in the game including the Manticore, Dragon, Megapithecus and Broodmother Lysrix. It’s going to be a fun feature but for now, we’ll have to wait a while since there’s no release date for it yet.
Dynamic Length Bridges
When it comes to upcoming structures, one of the teased features coming to the game are dynamic length bridges. Studio Wildcard is still pretty quiet about this upcoming structure. It has been teased in several patch notes already but its release has been delayed several times now.
