Examu’s Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars is about to start its crowdfunding campaign next month. Love Max Six Stars is Arcana Heart 3’s latest version that could only be found in Japanese arcades. The developers also promise to include new characters depending on how the crowdfunding goes.
As seen on Prefundia, Examu is planning to push out Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars through crowdfunding on the PC. The crowdfunding campaign is expected to start this July 7, according to Gematsu. No console release mentions have been confirmed yet, though it could become a stretch goal. The developers haven’t pushed out any other plans outside its PC release, English localization, and character rebalancing.
The Love Max Six Stars version pushes out a new character, Minori Amanohara, and her Arcana, Ichor, which is the Arcana of Blood. New characters and extra content might be added but we’ll have to wait until we see the crowdfunding’s stretch goals next month.
Previously, Arc System Works and Nippon Ichi Software America handled publishing for the previous Arcana Heart 3 Love Max console and PC versions. However, these companies don’t seem to be present in this crowdfunding campaign. It’s already been two years since the release of its Arcade version and it has yet to be ported on consoles. Currently, Arc System Works’ next project is Dragon Ball FighterZ and is set to be released in early 2018.
In the Japanese Arcade scene, other titles like Under Night In Birth and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 2.0 have yet to be ported on the consoles. The latest version for Under Night In Birth “Exe:Late[st]” is about to be released this July 20. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax fans have been waiting for version 2.0’s console launch as it pushed out significant gameplay changes that made it different from its current console version. We’ll have to wait on Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars if it’ll be fortunate enough to get funding for the port or stay in Japanese arcades until a major publisher picks it up again.
