Apple Watch 2 to Be Waterproof and Have GPS and New Screen Tech?

The Apple Watch 2 is one device that many tech enthusiasts have been waiting for. The Apple Watch has become a very popular gadget ever since it was released. Now, it has become one of the best wearable tech today. Do not expect Apple to be happy with this though as they are surely looking at ways to improve the upcoming generation of the device. If the recent rumblings are true, we may see even more improvements in the Apple Watch 2, which is expected to launch soon.

According to Wareable, the Apple Watch 2 could have some exciting new tech improvements that will surely blow the competition out of the water. The report mentions that the upcoming generation of the device could sport a new microLED display. It is worth noting that the technology was acquired by the Cupertino-based tech company when it purchased LuxVue Technology last 2014, so they have the means to incorporate the new tech in the Apple Watch 2.

Aside from new screen technology, GameNGuide reports that the Apple Watch 2 features will include advanced waterproofing as well as GPS functionality. This is certainly a very great addition as the Apple Watch 2 can then be used more effectively for monitoring exercises, such as swimming or running.

There is no word yet on when the Apple Watch 2 release date will be. We can probably expect to hear more from Apple about the launch of the device in the coming weeks or months. Until then, all we can do is sit back and wait for more exciting Apple Watch 2 leaks to drop.
