Apple has reportedly been working on Apple Watch 2. The company could launch the next-gen wearable in September, but LTE connectivity is not a possibility.
It was reported that Apple Watch 2 will include LTE connectivity and an improved GPS. Recent reports claim that the device will feature 4G cellular connectivity. However, improved GPS and fitness tracking will be there in an upcoming wearable.
Earlier, it was reported that Apple Watch 2 be equipped with cellular connectivity, and it will operate without the iPhone. According to MacRumors, Apple failed to integrate low-power cellular chips in this year?s model. However, the feature could be included in the future models.

MacRumors has also supported previous rumors about the inclusion of a barometer, an improved battery, and dust resistance and improved waterproofing.
This report supports the statement of analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who mentioned the same features in Apple Watch 2. Apart from these features Kuo also claimed the the device will be powered by a TSMC-built processor. However, he did not specify the model. Kuo also hinted that the wearable will be fitted with a One Glass Solution (OGS) touch panel.
?Apple will change touch panel technology from G/G to OGS (one glass solution) in the new Apple Watch to be launched in the second half of 2016,? Kuo said.
Moreover, Apple Watch 2 is expected to include a front facing camera with FaceTime support. There are also rumors about a new wireless chipset that will enable find a “Find my Watch” feature. The new wireless chipset will use the Wi-Fi router triangulation technology instead of GPS.
Apple could launch an improved smartwatch with the price starting at around $270 while the high end model will cost approximately $400. However, the company could launch much expensive premium variants as well.
These features and price details are nothing more than rumors at the moment. Apple is yet to reveal the details about upcoming Apple Watch 2. The company could unveil the smartwatch along with iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro 2016.
