The Apple Watch 2 is one piece of wearable tech which many gadget junkies have been excited about. Ever since Apple released the Apple Watch, fans have already been looking forward to the next big release from the Cupertino-based tech company. Now, it appears that the Apple Watch 2 is coming very soon and with it comes some new functionality that will make it even better as compared to its predecessor.

According to BGR, the Apple Watch 2 is expected to feature GPS functionality, which will really make it a whole lot better than the first generation of the device. The Apple Watch is one gadget which is frequently used when jogging or working out, but the first generation did not have the proper GPS functionality. That would mean that you would have to bring along your iPhone in order to properly track your workout.

The upcoming device is rumored to have swim tracking which would allow swimmers to track their laps and better monitor their performance. While this aspect of the Apple Watch 2 is still a rumor at this stage, it is great to see that Apple is investing a lot of time and effort in making the gadget even more useful for various activities.
