At least not as often as before.

Apple Music Carpool Karaoke

The success of Carpool Karaoke with James Corden was followed by the production of two different series. Apple Music then announced in July 2016 that the company will be distributing series based on the segment.

The difference between Corden’s Carpool Karaoke and the Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke is that the latter won’t be having a single host driving anymore. The executive producers, including James Corden, decided to have different hosts for each of the episodes.

The show will have 16 episodes, with different pairs every episode. Fans can expect Billy Eichner driving Metallica around Hollywood, while John Legend drives with Alicia Keys.

Variety also reported that Blake Shelton and Chelsea Handler will also be carpooling around LA. Additionally, Ariana Grande will be expected driving with Seth McFarlane.

James Corden in Carpool Karaoke

Carpool Karaoke is a segment in James Corden’s late night talk show, the Late Late Show at CBS. The segment features Corden and his musical guests driving and singing on the roads of Los Angeles.

Corden used to say that a Gavin & Stacey-themed sketch inspired the production of Carpool Karaoke. He explained that he participated in the Special Red Nose Day 2011, where he sang in the car with George Michael.

Carpool Karaoke with James Corden featured famous musical artists such as Sia, One Direction, Stevie Wonder, and more. He even carpooled with Adele and Mariah Carey!

Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke will be a standalone series, and will run for 30 minutes. On the other hand, there hasn’t been any official announcement about the release date of the show.
