By now, many Apple fans would be expecting the company to release the improved version of its latest flagship. The iPhone 7s, is said to be unveiled in September along with the iPhone 8. While most leaks for the past month or so revolved around the iPhone 8, a new leak now focuses on the iPhone 7s.

A certain iPhone 7s related photo appeared on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo that was later taken up by Slashleaks. In the said photo, one can see a piece of document underneath a handful of what appears to be glass backing for an iPhone model. While it is not clear to which iPhone model these glass backing belong to, many pundits believe these could either be for the iPhone 7s or iPhone SE.

Another interesting bit of information in the said image is the part where the document shows the words “Ion-X Glass.” This led many to believe that Apple is using the said strengthened glass for the iPhone in question. Also, if one would scrutinize the top-left part of one glass backing, it is quite clear that there is not a single hole on the sheet itself.

However, the two clear circular sections could be for the camera and flash of the target device. The absence of a hole cutout for the camera means that the iPhones in question will have no camera bumps at the back.

It is still too soon to confirm that these glass backings are for the iPhone 7s, much less for the iPhone SE. Although, it should be noted that early this year, famous KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple might release an iPhone SE in the second half of 2017. Of course, like the leak mentioned, there are now ways of verifying the veracity if these information. Readers are urged to take these bits of news with a healthy dose of common sense.
