Based on rumors, many would know by now that Apple might be planning on releasing three versions of its iPhone next year. The first two will be the usual iteration which will be the iPhone 7s and the 7s Plus. While the third one is said to be the 10th Anniversary iPhone or the iPhone 8. Apart from the iPhone 8, the other iPhones will sport the usual IPS LCD display. That being said, new reports revealed that the iPhone 7s and the 7s Plus will have a display with bezels thinner than 1mm.

According to rumors, the iPhone 8 will sport a curved edge-to-edge AMOLED display to match its dual glass casing. Not wanting to be left out, Apple could be adding the micro-bezel feature on the iPhone 7s and the 7s Plus.

Having an almost bezel-free iPhone 7s or 7s Plus will definitely catch on with a lot of Apple fans. For years, countless 3D renderings have surfaced on the internet on what people would want their iPhone to be. Nevertheless, most of these renders share something in common, they all want a bezel-less iPhone.

Since the iPhone 8 is already rumored to have a curved screen, having a bezel-free iPhone 7s sounds just about right. Perhaps Apple will indeed grace the slightly cheaper iPhones with such display. Nevertheless, for those who can really afford it, you could probably opt for the iPhone 8 when it comes out next year.
