Ant-Man and the Wasp Director Peyton Reed Confirms Michael Pena?s Return

Michael Pena will be coming back to Ant-Man and the Wasp. Fans will be delighted to know that Pena will be returning to reprise his role as Luis. Peyton Reed, the director of Ant-Man and the Wasp, confirmed that The End of Watch star will be reprising his role as Scott Lang?s partner in crime and chum. The film displayed comedy at its finest and had successfully made a lasting impression on viewers.

Aside from the confirmation that Pena will appear in the Marvel Studios’ forthcoming sequel, news about the shooting of the film to start sometime next year excited fans even more.

Pena will be working alongside Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. Evangeline Lilly will also star in the film as Hope Van Dyne.

Furthermore, Michael Douglas is sure to be back to play his original role in the film. He plays the role of Hank Pym.

According to Reed, the movie is going to have some stuff that no one has ever seen before. The director said that is the only thing that he can say about the much awaited film right now since we?re still about two years away from finally seeing it on the big screens.

As early as now, fans anticipate that Ant-Man And The Wasp is going to be a unique movie for Marvel Studios. Based on the title of the film itself, it is safe to say that it is going to be different. It will be the first time for the studio to feature two titular heroes. The challenge is that they are not only partners in saving the world. They also have a romantic relationship.

The film?s predecessor previously earned more than $519 million at the global box office. Given its huge success, the upcoming movie could be really challenging for the cast members and all the people involved.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to hit the big screens on July 6, 2018. Moviegoers still have a number of Marvel Studios films before the sequel. These include Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War.
