Ant-Man fans are eagerly waiting for Hope Van Dyne to suit up as the Wasp, but in the meantime they can enjoy a new look at her mother?s original Wasp design.
Comic Book?reports that Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor Andy Park revealed some new concept art of Janet Van Dyne as the Wasp from his time working on Ant-Man.

According to Cosmic Book?Evangeline Lilly plays Janet and Hank’s daugher, Hope Van Dyne, and will be a big part of an upcoming Marvel movie as Wasp. Maybe we’ll get to see the original Wasp as well.
Janet Van Dyne’s fate, and her lasting legacy, were central to the plot of this summer’s Ant-Man. Even though she was only glimpsed in brief flashbacks, Janet’s role as the original Wasp was directly tied to the film’s emotional dynamic between Hank Pym and his daughter Hope Van Dyne, reports News Arama.
Artist Andy Park was also responsible for the cool Guardians of the Galaxy Nebula and Gamora art and the variant cover for The Thanos Quest reprint.
During an interview Ant Man director Peyton Reed had even stated that if the studio planned to make a sequel or a prequel, he will be more than happy to do it. Well, lets hope this news comes true.
Ant Man was a movie about a man armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
