Tickets and details coming November 2016!?
The founder of LeftField Media Greg Topalian, with the help of LeftField Media head Peter Tatara, are working on the organization of the event. In an interview with Topalian, he said ?Anime and manga have never been more prolific in America, with anime conventions in other cities bringing together as many as 100,000 attendees. Yet while New York City is the largest city in America, no large event championing Japanese pop culture calls it home. Anime NYC will change this, and once established, we believe Anime NYC has the potential to become the largest anime convention on the East Coast.?
The event?is sponsored by Crunchyroll as well as Viz Media, Kinokuniya Bookstore and FUNimation. Throughout the convention, Crunchyroll will present screenings and the event?s special guests throughout November 17-19. According to the Crunchyroll website, Premium Members will even receive freebies during the event.
Ticket prices and other details of the convention will be revealed on November 2016. Make sure to check every single detail for the best event experience.
