The hatchlings from Angry Birds deliver season?s greeting in a most adorable way in the latest released promo of Angry Birds. The adorable little hatchlings try to sing ?Deck the Halls? in the video to wish everyone a Season?s Greeting. The video is kind of cute with hatchlings fumbling with words and getting distracted.
The Angry Birds upcoming 3D animated movie is based on the game of the same name by Rovio Entertainment. The hugely popular video game has been downloaded a massive 3 billion times since it was released in 2009. The movie sets to provide the back story of the game said?producer, John Cohen according to a report by?MovieWeb. In the game the players shoot variety of different birds from a slingshot into various structures that house green pigs who have stolen these bird?s eggs. The movie will provide origin story about the rivalry between birds and pigs.
According to?TheWrap, synopsis of the movie reads:
The Angry Birds Movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds. Or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.
The star cast of the movie includes Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Peter Dinklage and Bill Hader. The film is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly and set to be released by Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures and Rovio Entertainment.
Australian based Yowie Group has signed a licensing deal with Rovio Entertainment to bring Angry Birds branded chocolate to the US according to Confectionery News. The company has secure rights to manufacture and distribute Angry Birds chocolates with collectible items in the US. The chocolates will be launched in May coinciding with the movie release.
