Google?s upcoming operating system Android ?Nougat? is in its beta testing mode and Android fans are eagerly waiting for the Android Nougat update for their devices. For those who are looking for an update, here are some of the details about the latest version and a list of the devices that will get the upgrade as soon as the company releases the new OS.

Android Nougat is available for beta testing on Google Nexus 6P, 5X, 6, 9 and Pixel C tablets. So, there is no doubt that these devices will get Android Nougat as soon as the company releases it to the public. Now it is reported that HTC Nexus 9 will soon receive the latest version of Android. Community specialist Rogers Darrell has shared an image on his website in which he has listed the devices that are getting the Android update. However, Rogers has not listed the exact date.

Earlier, HTC has announced the Android Nougat upgrade for its device. The company announced via its official Twitter account that its devices, including the HTC 10, One M9, and One A9, will receive Nougat update. However, the company didn?t give a specific date when these devices would get the Nougat update.

Although Samsung has not released any statement regarding Nougat upgrade for its devices, the Korean tech giant will most probably release the update for its high end devices. Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and Galaxy Note 5 and the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 will be the first devices to receive the update. Samsung handset users have to wait for an official announcement by the company for further details.

These are just speculations but one thing is for sure, that Android Nougat will be best operating system for mobile phones. It is much better than Apple?s latest iOS 10. Salient features include features like Google Assistant, sustained performance mode, keyboard Shortcuts helper and reply in a notification.

Moreover, the multi-window feature will be there as well. That will allow the users to access two different apps at a time. It shows two apps in a split screen. Although this feature is already there in few Samsung and LG phones, with this update it will be available in every device that will run Android Nougat.
