T-Mobile has listed down all the eligible Samsung and HTC handsets earmarked to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update.

For a long time, Google has been prompt in releasing the Nexus handset first with the latest firmware onboard. However, this time around, other OEMs will be leading the way. As you might have already heard, the upcoming LG V20 will be the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The?Android 7.0 Nougat update comes with multi-window option, Data Saver mode, Google Assistant and Quick Settings customization. To top it off, the firmware also brings in Clear All feature, enhanced notification controls, and a slew of impressive emojis.

Furthermore, Google has enhanced the scope of the Doze Mode, which saves battery by putting the unused background apps and services to sleep. Even though this mechanism was introduced in Android 6.0, ?the Android 7.0 Nougat update will reportedly help the?system decide if the smartphone is in a pocket or a bag.
