Android 4.4.3 KitKat is coming soon from brand manufacturers after sources found out that Samsung is now testing the firmware for major smartphones and LG?s consideration for Optimus G Pro Lite and the original Optimus G.

Samsung?s Android 4.4.3 KitKat

SamMobile caught two internal documents revealing Samsung?s Android KitKat upgrade plans for June to July 2014. Samsung Galaxy S5 is the first to be tested on Android 4.4.3 KitKat with build number KTU70 and now under integration stage with Samsung apps and TouchWiz UI.

Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9506 is also being integrated with Samsung apps and services running Android 4.4.3 KitKat which was supposed to be under Android 4.4.2 only. If the testing goes smoothly, Android 4.4.3 KitKat may rollout as early as June.

LG Android 4.4.3 KitKat

LG already started updating the G Flex with Android KitKat in South Korea and now available from network carriers in the United States. LG G2 and G Pad 8.3 are also eligible for Android 4.4.2 KitKat and users should now check their devices for a new firmware.

While there is no doubt that LG will update the three devices mentioned above to Android 4.4.3 KitKat, LG Italy confirmed via Facebook that the company plans on spreading Android KitKat on other devices as well.

It includes the 2013 line up of Optimus L9 2 and Optimus G Pro Lite while users of the original Optimus G smartphone will have a little longer as the upgrade may rollout from June to September 2014.
