An Assassin Joins Dragon Quest: Inquisition

By on

This assassin first appeared in Dragon Age: Origins.

Leliana, the former Orlesian Bard, returns to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Gamers hope that the character will be playable and allowed to join their Inquisitor party. Based on the official website, the lady assassin seems to have changed somewhat.

Here are some vital information about our lady assassin and about the game.

Names and Titles:

Leliana, Sister Nightingale, The Left Hand of the Divine

Personal Dossier:

Tired of living the carefree life of a Bard, Leliana became a lay sister in the Chantry of Lothering. She can be a companion or a romantic partner of the Grey Warden ? the player controlled hero of the Dragon Age: Origins. Leliana has the ability to impart her knowledge on the bard specialization. Leliana?s class is Rouge.

She is now one of the Inquisition?s high ranked members and the added responsibility seems to have changed her usual cheerful outlook to a very serious demeanor.

Although she was born and raised in Orlais, Leliana actually considers herself as a Fereldan, just like her mother. Lady Cecilie, an Orlesian noblewoman raised and took care of Leliana after the death of her mother. During that time, the future assassin gained intimate knowledge about Orlesian royal court and culture.

Official Description:

The Inquisition website gave this description, “Those who have earned her loyalty know her as a steadfast ally. But enemies of the Divine know to fear her, for she is the shadow behind the Sunburst Throne ? the one who watches and waits, who strikes when her mark is most vulnerable and least suspecting.”

Game Description:

Inquisition is an action role playing game (RPG) and the third chapter of the Dragon Age series. The game?s environment will be much larger than its two predecessors. The combat aspect has been made easier because the focus is on more on tactics rather than on repetitive finger movements. The romance option has become more mature and will feature some sex scenes.

Available Platforms:

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be ready for the PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

The game is developed by BioWare and published under Electronic Arts. The expected release date is October 7 this year.
