Missed this year?s AMAs? Here’s a?round up of the 8 most memorable performances of the night.

  1. JLo?s Opening Number

Host Jennifer Lopez kicked the night off with an epic number starting with a a cappella version of her hit ?Waiting For Tonight? before breaking out into a 10-minute dance mash-up of AMA-nominated hits.?”Tonight’s not about me, tonight is about the music. You all want to dance with me?,” she exclaimed.

Decked out in a tribal-inspired leotard and looking smoking hot, JLo danced to “Uptown Funk,” ?Anaconda?, “Bad Blood,” “Hotline Bling”, ?Thinking Out Loud? and ?B*tch Better Have My Money.?

  1. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato performed her song “Confident” dressed up in a Chicago-inspired ensemble.

Later, she joined Alanis Morissette?for a duet of “You Oughta Know” from her ?Jagged Little Pill? album in celebration the song’s 20th anniversary. Definitely an angry girl power moment!

  1. One Direction

It wouldn?t be a show without a performance by One Direction, who performed “Perfect” from their latest album, ?Made in the A.M.? The boys? performance wasn?t a big production number ? just their charming selves and mike stands on the stage ? which proves their ability to easily capture an audience and why they are ?Artist of the Year?.

  1. Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas proved there?s more to him than being a Jonas brother and did a memorable medley staring with a soulful solo piano rendition of “Chains” and did “Levels” with a perfect falsetto and an impressive drum solo. He ended with “Jealous” with a full chorus behind him.

  1. Coldplay

Coldplay took the stage and performed “Adventure of a Lifetime”, their first time in seven years to be on the AMA stage.

  1. The Weeknd

One of this year?s breakout artists, The Weeknd gave a thrilling performance of ?The Hills” surrounded by flames.

  1. Celine Dion

Before her performance, Oscar-winner Jared Leto shared an anecdote about his band playing at the Bataclan concert hall a while back, saying the venue is one of his favorite places to play. “France matters, Russia matters, Syria matters … the entire world matters and peace is possible,” Leto said, referring to the recent Paris attacks. “Many of us here are the sons and daughters of immigrants.”

Dion then gave an uplifting performance of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne ? L’Amour” in French in honor of the victims of the Paris attacks.

  1. Justin Bieber

The Biebs closed the show with three of his latest songs: an acoustic version of “What Do You Mean?”, “Where Are ? Now” and finally, “Sorry” with him dancing in the rain.
