According to Forbes, AMD and Intel could finally go head to head with two of the most highly anticipated processors about to hit the market. The AMD Ryzen is set to be released very soon and Intel?s Kaby Lake processors could make for some very stiff competition.
AMD has been very confident about the upcoming Ryzen processor. In the AMD New Horizon event, the company included in the launch presentation how the Ryzen performed compared to Intel?s high-end chipset.
The results were extremely encouraging for the AMD Ryzen, which outperformed the Intel Core i7-6900K CPU. It is worth noting that the said Intel processor is priced at more than $1,000. With the AMD Ryzen expected to be priced a lot lower, the upcoming chipset could take a huge chunk of Intel?s market.
AMD though should not celebrate just yet as Intel could be making a huge splash with its Kaby Lake processors. While the Intel Core i7-6900K chipset is already amazing, the Kaby Lake processors could be at a whole different level.
