Wearable devices are very hot these days, and your go to online seller, Amazon, wants a piece of the pie. Wearable computing devices ranging from smartwatches to connected spectacles are hitting the market and Amazon wants to make it easier for the consumers, by helping them find the perfect wearable.

Amazon has launched a new online hub where you can find everything wearable. You can also explore and find things that you may not have even known to exist. There is also an editorial corner to see what is trending or what updates there are in the world of wearable technology.

The online hub contains gadget offerings from very well knows brands like Samsung, GoPro, and Jawbone. There are also brands that are entering the scene like Basis and Misfit. Amazon has also mentioned that it would be offering devices from other brands like Narrative and Bionym in the near future.

Going further in detail, seen on the site are also promotions from the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatches and the Fitbit activity trackers. These two are located front and center so you can?t miss them. Sub categories are also provided for better browsing, and these categories include fitness and wellness, healthcare devices, watches, cameras, and family friendly wearables. There are also learning centers, as well as a video library if you are undecided on what you want to get, or if you want to compare different products.

John Nemeth, director of wireless and mobile electronics at Amazon, mentioned that: ?Wearable technology is an exciting category with rapid innovation and our customers are increasingly coming to Amazon to shop and learn about these devices?. He also added that: ?We’re thrilled to bring our customers a store with the largest selection and great prices that helps eliminate the guesswork when deciding which wearable devices best fit their needs ? whether that is tracking activity, staying connected through smart watches, or capturing their next adventure with wearable cameras?.

By adding a go to place for all things wearable, Amazon could position themselves as a prime destination for these gadgets and it also helps users who are already familiar with Amazon.
