Amazon 3D Smartphone To Feature Display That Projects 3D Images Without Using 3D Glasses. Take a Peek at Leaked Image and Teaser Video of the Amazon 3D Smartphone.
A 3D smartphone that needs no 3D glasses. This is what Amazon has been teasing techies for some time now, and it looks like the device may finally be released soon. The Amazon 3D smartphone is rumored to be scheduled for release by the end of 2014, and an image published by tech site BGR ?is giving us a peek at what it might look like. Amazon also released a teaser video that signals the probable launch of the Amazon 3D smartphone (video found at the end of this article).
The Leaked image of the 3D Amazon smartphone was published by tech site BGR and has been re-posted by numerous tech news sites and blogs in the past twenty four hours. The tech site shows what is supposedly the Amazon 3D smartphone, and they also revealed that the smartphone will have the following specs:
- Display : 4.7 inch touch screen with a resolution of 720p HD
- OS : Modified Android operating system similar to the Kindle Fire Tablet (Amazon)
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon
- Memory : 2 GB
- Six (6) ? Individual Camera Modules?
According to BGR, the image shown of the Amazon 3D smartphone, is just one of the planned several devices to be released by Amazon, and that more information will be released about the smartphone within the coming weeks.
The 3D smartphone, according to the report, will utilize some innovative features such as gesture control, a three dimensional (3D) display, and will come with a unique data plan that involves a subsidy offer from AT&T. The plan is mysteriously labeled ?Prime Data?.
?Prime Data?, BGR speculates, is a promotional plan tied up to the Amazon 3D smartphone (and other Amazon devices later on), that will enable users to have limited free use of Amazon services, that can be accessed via a cellular data network. Such services will include streaming music, television shows, and movies.
In a previous report by BGR last month, the tech site said that the rumored 3D smartphone will have a natural interface that responds to the movement of the user via gesture control, and that the information it shows on its display changes when the device is tilted in different directions.
When Amazon was reportedly asked to confirm these rumors, all they replied with was ?You?ll have to wait and see.?
Hopefully, in the coming days, the wait may finally be over.
