Reports say the power-packed Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch will be launched at the IFA 2016 event, scheduled to take place in Berlin between September 2 and September 7. Samsung fans have seen some leaked configurations of the device in the past. However, now, two alleged photos of this smartwatch have surfaced ahead of the release.
Samsung is already on cloud nine mainly thanks to the Galaxy S7 series and the?latest Galaxy Note 7. Good demand and sales are apparently keeping the South Korean tech giant busy. Samsung is also gearing up to introduce a 6GB variant of the Note 7 in selected countries. So you might wonder which other device this company could introduce at the IFA event.
Apart from the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch, the South Korean tech giant will also introduce the long-awaited affordable tablet?Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 in Berlin.
Meanwhile, SamMobile just shared two alleged Samsung Gear S3 photos ferred out from a Walmart listing. Along with the smartwatch, a screen protector can also be seen in the photos.
One look at the photos and you will know Samsung has followed a traditional real ?watch-like? look and feel. But then, many were expecting a design overhaul that would be in-line with the modern-day outlook and needs.
Nevertheless, one can see the?metallic bracelet and the fluted bezel as rumored earlier. The plus point of having fluted bezel, similar to Rolex, is that it gives a sophisticated glossy look to the gadget.
However, the traditional look makes many wonder if these photos are genuine or not. In any case, it is just a matter of days before Samsung shows up with the new smartwatch at IFA 2016.
The South Korean tech giant will reportedly offer three variants of the Gear S3 and they are:
- Samsung Gear S3 Classic
- Samsung Gear S3 Frontier
- Samsung Gear S3 Explorer
Furthermore, this watch lineup will run Samsung?s own Tizen OS out of the box. Rumor has it that, unlike the predecessor, the Gear S3 will come with a bigger display to make reading easier.
What do you think of the alleged Gear S3 photos? Do you think this is how the smartwatch will look upon release? Feel free to leave a comment.
