Alienware 15 VS Razer Blade Pro, which one is better?

Processor wise, Alienware 15 already has an advantage when it comes to its processing speed. According to this break down of i7-4710 specs from Intel, the 4710 model has a base speed of 2.5GHz and can reach up to 3.5GHz because of the Turbo Boost. Plus! Alienware 15 i7-4710 also has the Hyper Threading technology! Opening simultaneous applications are now more convenient because of Hyper Threading.

For the GPU, it is quite obvious that the Razer Blade Pro is no doubt inferior to the Alienware 15. The memory alone is already astonishing with 4GB DDR5 VRAM and not to mention the model, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M, while the Razer Blade Pro only has GTX 860M. Don?t get me wrong though, the 860M can still perform well even though it is not as latest as the 980M. However, if you are a hardcore gamer and a streamer, it would be wise to go with the latest GPU as it can support 1080p HD and ultra-setting graphics of your game and the FPS wouldn?t drop massively compared to the older version.

As for the pricing of Alienware 15 and Razer Blade Pro, for an extra $100, you will get the latest GPU model, extra 1TB storage and a much faster processor if you decided to go with Alienware 15.

The only advantage Razer Blade Pro has over Alienware 15 is that, the Blade Pro is a bit lighter and much thinner than the Alienware. But when it comes to the internal specifications, Alienware 15 has the lead.

So to summarize the Alienware 15 VS Razer Blade Pro battle, if you want a high-end gaming laptop, Alienware 15 is no doubt the winner.
