After the initial debut of the colored Boost cushioning in Ultra Boost Uncaged, the Adidas Originals is updating their NMD sneakers with similar color boost soles this weekend. The renowned German sportswear brand opened up a world of colour possibilities for their groundbreaking BOOST silhouette.

The Three Stripes is officially releasing the Adidas NMD Color Boost Pack collection featuring two iterations of the NMD R1 and the NMD XR1 this Saturday, September 17th. The forthcoming range for Fall/Winter 2016 features both red and black colorways, with a tonal color coating completely transforming the BOOST midsole.

Adidas NMD R1 Solar Red

The highlight of the NMD Color Boost Pack is of course the super-vibrant tonal red pair that features the bright hue on the Boost cushioning, outsole, NMD bumpers, upper and laces. The Solar Red NMD replaces the primeknit upper for a more ventilated, breathable stretch-mesh construction. The reflective three stripes branding and a molded heel patch finish the ?look.

Adidas NMD R1 Core Black

Similar to the Solar Red pair, the Core Black colorway of the NMD takes the tonal approach and uses a stretch mesh on the upper in all-black with reflective detailing on the three stripes branding and on the tongue tab. Other details include moulded EVA plugs on the midsole, a molded heel patch, and the a new blacked out Boost midsole.

Adidas NMD XR1 Triple Black

An accompanying NMD XR1 silhouette boasts of a striking two tone effect in different shades of black. Though they are not a true and through ?Triple Black? rendition since the stripes of Dark Grey run throughout the woven Primeknit upper. The NMD XR1 also features micro-rib knit and premium material overlays for lifestyle appeal. Other details include a suede tongue patch with embossed trefoil branding, a matching suede construction on the heel, and tonal EVA plug inserts for the final touch.

The Adidas “Color Boost” NMD Pack will hit and select retailers on September 17th, 2016. Other retailers like Livestock will also make the sneakers available. However, the limited edition sneakers are likely to be sold out soon.

It would make sense to book in advance via the Adidas Confirmed app. Interested customers will need to download the Adidas Confirmed app on their mobile devices. The app is available on both Android and iOS devices via Google Play Store and Apple Store.

You?ll need to create an Adidas Originals account and then select a preferred sneakers and size. The consumer receives a push notification when reservations open. When a successful reservation confirmation is received via the app, the consumer will be notified of the time and store pick up location.
