Adele?s much-anticipated third album is not due out for at least another month but she appears to have teased her fans with a tiny taster during the ad break of British X Factor on Sunday night.
The 30-second clip featured no faces, names or dates, just a black screen, some simple piano chords and Adele?s recognisable voice singing the following lines, as the lyrics flashed up, reported The Guardian.
?Hello, it?s me / I was wondering if after all these years / you?d like to meet to go over everything / they say that time?s supposed to heal ya / but I ain?t done much healing …?.
According to BBC, the clip was played during the X Factor on ITV in the UK on Sunday, almost five years since her last album, 21.
Viewers heard a voice singing, accompanied by the lyrics on an otherwise black screen.
Her new album has been widely rumoured to be coming out in November. There was no name or release date on the clip and her spokesperson declined to comment.
According to Daily Mail UK, it has widely been rumoured that Adele’s new album is due out next month but no official announcement has been made.
In August it was reported that she had been working on new music with the likes of OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who produced and co-wrote Rumour Has It on 21, Gnarls Barkley’s Brian Burton and other music luminaries.
