After being on a three-year hiatus, Adele has been quite the busy bee with her eagerly anticipated album ?25? slated for release later this month, landing the cover of Rolling Stone and breaking hearts and chart records here and there.
The 27-year old British singer pre-recorded a performance for BBC Music set to air later this month, her first live performance of her debut single “Hello”, which has become her fourth Hot 100 No. 1 song on the Billboard charts.
Graham Norton interviews the singer in the BBC special and the clip shows her answering a question from the audience on the truth behind her drunk tweeting.
?This is true. I’m not a drinker anymore but when Twitter first came out, I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times, so my management decided you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they are all my tweets, no one writes my tweets, they just post them for me,? she explains.
She also talks about her return to music and her family life with boyfriend Simon Koncecki and their son, Angelo.
?It was that thing of, do I or don’t I want to go back to my music,’ she says. ?Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so I could do it properly. I can’t do anything else, this is all that I like doing,? she confesses.
Adele also performed ?Hello? at the NRJ Awards in France on Saturday night and posted a couple of black-and-white behind-the-scene snaps of her getting ready for the night.
A close-up photo shows her beautifully manicured hands and her tattoo.
Adele will perform a special one-night only concert in New York City at Radio City Music Hall?on November 17.
