Days before the release of Adele’s?highly-anticipated third studio album and snippets of all the songs have leaked online (see the full track list and clips here).
This after it was announced that ?25? will not be available for streaming on any digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
Apple Inc. confirmed?25 will not be available to stream on Apple Music but said that Adele?s latest single??Hello??will continue being available for streaming. Spotify also confirmed that its followers would not have access to the new album. ?We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify. We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy?25?on Spotify alongside?19?and21?very soon,? the company said in a statement, according to The New York Times.
Adele is said to have been personally involved with the decision, which is similar to what Taylor Swift did a year ago when she?withdrew her music from Spotify.
In just three weeks, her new single ?Hello??has sold 2.2 million tracks. Adele?s ?25,? released by XL/Columbia, is expected to be one of the biggest hits the music world has seen in years.
According to Billboard magazine, industry executives expect the album to sell?about 2.5 million copies?in its first week in the United States.
Adele recently performed at the NRJ Awards and will be guesting on?60 Minutes Australia?on Sunday, November 22. The preview?shows the singer performing a live version of ?When We Were Young?, another track from 25.
In other news, the British chanteuse addressed the rumour that she turned down a collaboration offer from?Beyonce. “I would never disrespect her like that,” Adele said during an interview with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show.
“There’s a rumour going round that I turned Beyonc? down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that,” she added. “Obviously, like, Queen B ’til the day I die.” Adele added that she had learned how to turn down numerous offers but emphasized that she would never turn down Beyonc?.
