Following news that Adam Levine and former Victoria Secret?s angel Behati Prinsloo are expecting a child, speculations surfaced that the Maroon 5 lead singer might be giving up his turning chair in the NBC series The Voice after Season 10.
?[Adam Levine]?s been there since the very beginning and feels like it?s time to move on,? OK! Magazine reports citing In Touch Weekly?s insider on March 11. He ?wants to concentrate on his music and start a family with his wife.?
The source further revealed that the Sugar hitmaker ?really wants to leave on a high note. He doesn?t want to see the show jump the shark. He?s totally open to coming back in the future as a mentor, but deep down he know it?s the right time to say goodbye.?
On the contrary, one report reveals that Levine is not bidding goodbye to the show any time soon.
?[Adam Levine] would stay with The Voice and will stay with The Voice even if he becomes a father,? a source told Hollywood Life. ?The amount of time he would have to be away really wouldn?t be that much. He could easily do both. The Voice schedule would offer no neglect to family duties and he would be able to do it because The Voice would be accommodating to all of his needs. They would all be able to work out a proper schedule to make it all work out. ?
Meanwhile, even Adam?s co-coaches expressed their excitement over the news, but Blake Shelton appeared to be more elated and volunteered to be the godfather, according to Movie News Guide.
?Blake has already volunteered to be the godfather, so he can show their little one the ropes. Everyone is thrilled including Gwen and Christina,? a source told Hollywood Life on March 10.
