Acer launched its new gaming tablet Predator 8 that was unveiled back in September 2015 and has dubbed it as the loudest gaming tablet.
The Android powered Predator 8 certainly looks like a gaming device with its fascinating angles and an edgy style with attractive colors of black, red and grey. The tablet weighs 12.4 ounces and measures 8.6 x 5 x 0.3 inches according to Laptopmag.com. ?The Predator 8 tablet is equipped with an Intel Atom X7-Z8700 quad core processor with 1.6 GHz speed which can be turbo boosted up to 2.4 GHz. It backed by 2 GB of RAM which is quite down side considering current smart phones support 3 GB RAM. The tablet comes in 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage versions. It also has the possibility to increase the storage capacity through Micro SD that allows for up to 128 GB. Predator 8 has impressive 8-inch IPS LCD display that supports 1920 x 1200 resolution and is quite effective for HD gaming and viewing 1080p movies. The Predator 8 supports 5 mega pixel primary camera on the rear and 1.92 mega pixel front camera. It is powered by a 4420mAh battery that provides up to eight and half hours of battery life.
The thick build Predator 8 features four front facing speakers, one in each corner of the tablet which makes it the loudest gaming tablet. The virtual sound speakers deliver an impressive audio experience for gaming and movie viewing. The tablet also has dual-haptic vibration motors that allow even vibration across the entire tablet no matter how it is held according to androidandme.com. The tablet supports Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It supports Wi-fi, GPS and Bluetooth for connectivity purposes and include Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope sensors. The tablet also includes Predator MediaMaster that allows users to customize video and audio settings for better gaming and multimedia experience.
The Predator 8 is now available for pre order at $299.99 in the U.S. from Acer or Newegg. The shipment has already started as of 13 November 2015 reports VC Post.
