It has been a while since Apple updated its iMac. This is the main reason why consumers are eagerly waiting for the release of the iMac 2017 early next year. With regards to its specs, reports state that it will boast a 27-inch 5K Retina display similar to the 2015 model. But the difference is, it will be capable of supporting an OLED Touch Bar.

Furthermore, instead of a Kaby Lake chipset, iTechPost mentioned that the future iMac will use an Intel Xeon processor. It is considered as one of the most powerful processors in this generation. High-end PCs are the usual gadgets that Xeon is supporting as it is capable of reducing programming errors.

But, all these new features will also have its downside. Because there are a lot of new interesting specs added to the iMac 2017, consumers should expect its price to increase. These features would not come for free and they will certainly add to the device?s cost.

Now, for those who are not willing to spend more money for a desktop but are looking for a great deal, you might consider buying the Acer Aspire C-series. The new desktop series will cost from $450 up to $700.
