The game series for the Game Boy Advance was launched by CAPCOM in Japan in 2001. It was followed by shipping a port for the Nintendo DS in Japan and four years later in the West, pointed Anime News Network.
The game is about a defense attorney called Ryuuichi Naruhodou (Phoenix Wright in English versions). He uses ?investigative skills, cross-examinations, and evidence? to fight the cases for his clients in a courtroom set up which more or less is similar to that of the ?Japanese legal system.?
CAPCOM is in the development process of Ace Attorney 6 for the Nintendo 3DS and also has ?plans to bring the game to the West.? CAPCOM also asserted that in 2016, it will ship the game in Japan.
