Google is promoting the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie with new goodies that are hidden for fans to find out.
Google in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm is surprising fans with new features and goodies and latest one was unveiled on Tuesday according to GameSpot.
You can experience this feature by going to Google right now. All you have to do is type in search bar this ?a long time ago in a galaxy far far away?. Press Enter and see the new marvelous trick.
The search results now appear to be in scrolling yellow letters with black ground similar to the opening scenes in the Star Wars. Wired?reported Google has been planting these Easter eggs and made this announcement to the Star War fans by giving hint on twitter that read: ?Search the beginning?.
Google has also released new customization tools for its various apps including Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, Google Maps among others that lead to see cool Star Wars themed features in your browser. You can try out these cool features simply by going to Google?s ?Awaken the Force Within? web-page. The users then get to choose between the light side of the force or the dark side. The dark side is represented by blue saber lights whilst the red saber light goes for dark as in the Star War series.
The features include Star War themed background for your Gmail and YouTube progress bar themed into a light saber with red or blue color according to the choice you make. The other tweaks include C-3PO reading directions for driving in Waze, the Google owned navigation device. The new customization tools also display the release date of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie in Google Calendar.
The users can choose to switch their allegiance to the other side or deactivate these features if they have had enough of Star Wars frenzy. The features will remain available till February 1.?Star Wars: The Force Awakens is slated to released in UK on December 17 and in USA on December 18.
