After more than half a year of waiting, it looks like The Fun Pimps already has a plan laid out for Alpha 16 of 7 Days To Die. The developer recently revealed the patch notes for what looks to be the biggest update for the game so far and players should be very excited when it is released. Here are the important details in the 7 Days To Die Alpha 16.
7 Days To Die Alpha 16 Patch Notes
The Fun Pimps recently boasted the patch notes for the upcoming update. What the developer revealed is a summary of an 88 page patch note for the upcoming update so we can expect to get a hold of a lot of new features in the next major update for 7 Days To Die.
The developer first detailed the new distant location rendering system for the game. “We’ve added a new distant location rendering system which renders low-polygon versions of locations in Navezgane and Random Gen worlds over a kilometer away. The system creates models of locations above a certain mass and height,” says The Fun Pimps.
This new tweak to the game’s engine is going to be partnered with several new locations that players can encounter in Navezgane and randomly generated worlds. Some of the new areas include four new skyscrapers, three fast-food restaurants, and many more. Overall, there are over 30 new locations coming in 7 Days To Die Alpha 16.
Zombie Tweaks And Electricity
When it comes to the zombies in the game, The Fun Pimps is going to add several tweaks for the undead. There are quite a few tweaks to enemy spawning that players should take note of. Some of the major tweaks include new sleeper volumes and spawn points to many locations in the game.
Another major addition to the game is a new set of structures that would make player’s bases more lively. With the next major update, The Fun Pimps is going to introduce electricity to 7 Days To Die. Players will have access to several new structures including Blade Traps, Pressure Plates, Generators, Switches, and many more.
This is just a small fraction of what The Fun Pimps is readying for 7 Days To Die Alpha 16 and there’s so much more to dig into. For a full look at the patch notes, check out the official patch notes here from the developers themselves.
