Recently, The Fun Pimps? Joel Huenink showcased the new 7 Days to Die Alpha 16 update contents in a video. The new paintbrush tool, bulletproof glass, and new block rotation setting system have been added to the game. Here?s what we know so far about the new 7 Days to Die Alpha 16 update.
As seen on the 7 Days to Die Alpha 16 Week 8 video from Huenink, the new Paintbrush tool allows players to paint on blocks and change its appearance. Easily, this allows players to further customize and design their buildings in the game. Alternatively, the color changes can be used to camouflage your territory to hide it from other players.
Additionally, the Bulletproof Glass has also been showcased for the upcoming 7 Days to Die Alpha 16 update. The Bulletproof Glass is a transparent block that has 3000 health which is perfect for setting a defense, and you still clearly see the targets beyond the wall. As seen in the video, The Fun Pimps is still working on the glass placement, but the Bulletproof Glass seems to be accurate and can be placed like ceiling blocks.
Block Placement Settings
Lastly, Huenink also featured the game?s three block placement settings which can be used for designing your structures. The Simple placement layout allows you to just rotate the block in two ways. Meanwhile, the On Face placement allows your block to correctly adapt to its surface and continuously rotate itself slowly to place the block. Meanwhile, the Advanced placement allows the player to use every rotation and position possible, which could be viable for intricate or bizarre designs.
The 7 Days to Die Alpha 16 update still doesn?t have a concrete release date for its stable build. If you want to know more about the Alpha 16 update contents, The Fun Pimps has listed it on their Developer Diary thread. At best, players should look at these upcoming changes so they can adjust or even preempt some building plans in the upcoming update.
