The recent reports that claimed the sale of 50 Cent?s mansion are not true. The ?rapper who lives in a Farmington, Connecticut mansion is not sold yet.
According to People, the rapper?s rep said, ?”It is not sold yet, there are offers they are reviewing and it is still on the market.”
“There is no signed contract in place to purchase the property. ?Until such time as a formal contract has been approved by the Bankruptcy Court and executed, the property will remain listed and for sale to all interested buyers,” the rep added.
TMZ reported that the mansion was rumored to be sold for $8 million to a buyer who wished to convert into an “assisted living facility.”
Curtis James Jackson III, who is popularly known as 50 Cent brought the huge property of 50,000 square feet in 2003 from boxer Mike Tyson for $4.1 million. It is heard that Jackson spent nearly $10 million to renovate the massive mansion which is also said to be one of the biggest private American residences, according to Daily Mail.
In 2015, the American rapper filed for bankruptcy when he was asked by a New York City jury to pay $7million to Lastonia Leviston, the website further reported. Leviston, who is a mother to Jackson?s rapper rival Rick Ross said that her life was ruined after the incident and even ?drove her to the brink of suicide.?
Jackson?s singing talent was discovered by Eminem in 2002. In his career as a singer, Jackson sold over 30 million albums worldwide. He won several awards that include a Grammy Award, six World Music Awards, thirteen Billboard Music Awards, four BET Awards and three American Music Awards. He was ranked the sixth-best artist of the 2000s.
Jackson also acted in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006 and Righteous Kill in 2008.?
