Forty-nine birds for 49 innocent lives.
While the names of the victims, who died in the senseless shooting that took place last weekend at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, were being read at a vigil in Orlando, a flock of birds quietly flew by.
One woman, who was at the memorial?to express her support for the families of the victims, noticed the scene above and quickly snapped a photo of the passing birds.
When she checked the photo in her camera and counted the number of birds, she felt chills down her spine. There were 49 birds.
?I then showed everyone around me and had them count,” she said, according to a CNN report. ?We were all stunned.?

Still according to CNN: ?The candlelight vigil was held Monday at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. The photographer said there was a deafening silence between the pauses of the names being read and painful sobs in the crowd.?
The person behind the viral photo, which has been shared thousands of times on social media sites, wishes to remain anonymous. Her reason? She doesn?t want to take away the attention from the real issue.
?Who took the photo is not as important as what is in it,? she said, as CNN reported. ?May everyone find healing and peace.?
There was no tribute quite like this one. The photographer said that the spectacle in the sky gave her and the rest of the attendees a sense of peace.
?Seeing the birds made me feel a sense of peace about the tragedy,? she said.
Interestingly, another vigil was being held some 60 miles away in Lakeland, Florida. At this event, 49 doves representing the 49 victims were released as a tribute.

But reports say that the birds in the viral photo look different, as they are black.
CNN notes, ?Where the birds came from is unknown.?
