The boys (or rather men) of 19 Days are nothing short of funny, adorable, hysterical, and of course hot! The creator Old Xian, a Shueisha Tezuka and Golden Dragon Awardee, lets us in on the romantic-comedy of a boy and his best friend.
Fans in various forums are saying that it is a must-read and they are raving about how the story has brought them to tears from laughing too hard. Add to the fact that the series is in full-color, making its characters more vibrant and lovable than ever. Here?s a review on the characters so far:
Jian Ji is a carefree guy (on the outside) who has a crush on his best friend. This cuddle bug is obsessed with Zheng Xi. So whenever there?s a chance he tries to go in for some skinship. He tends to be clingy and possessive when it comes to Zheng Xi. His budding romantic feelings gets him in trouble to the point of confusing him and Zheng Xi.
Zhan Zheng Xi started as a tsundere character that tries so hard to make sure that his best friend, Jian Ji, does not do anything stupid. Later on, some events break his tough personality and directs him to be affectionate, especially when the situation calls for it. But most of the time, he still prefers to punch Jian Ji in the face for his stupid antics.
He Tian is the big man on campus. Always surrounded by girls – swooning over his ?bad boy? image. He is a middle school delinquent, notorious for fighting, smoking, and skipping classes. Though in some chapters, he appears to be a nice guy whenever he talks to Jian JI or Zhen Xi.
?Red Head? Guy who remains unnamed ? this guy seems to have a grudge against the 3 other boys, especially He Tian. Not much is known about him yet aside from the fact that, as much as he would like to say no to He Tian?s requests, he just can?t beat him in a fist fight.
Join the colorful life of these best friends in this gorgeous- angst-filled series, now on its 169th webisode.
