17 Devices That Match The Samsung Gear Fit

Together with the Gear 2 and Gear Neo, the Samsung Gear Fit was introduced with much fanfare several days ago. Despite being the simpler device (compared to the 2 other siblings), the Gear Fit actually got more praise because of its focus and simplicity (Do read our article on the ?Top 5 Devices in the Mobile World Congress?, where the Gear Fit was featured at ).

The Gear Fit is a wearable device that tracks the heart rate level of the user and also records step counts and other data. It features a 1.84 inch AMOLED touch display that is elegantly shaped in a rectangular form. The 432 x 128 resolution screen drew a lot of praises when it was unveiled.

The display shape makes it not only a beautifully designed wearable gadget that looks amazing on the wrist but also very functional as it provides the user with a larger and user-friendly control panel.

The Samsung Gear Fit does not have other features that the Gear 2 and Gear Neo possess like a microphone or camera since the Gear Fit is purely focused on its fitness objective. It is however dust and water resistant (IP67 certified) making it the perfect companion for outdoor workouts.

The data recorded on the Gear Fit can be easily synced with the Samsung S Health App. The app on the other hand is available with the following Galaxy devices which Samsung has declared as ?Gear Fit compatible?.

  • Samsung Galaxy S5
  • Galaxy Grand 2
  • Galaxy?Note?3
  • Galaxy?Note?2
  • Galaxy S4
  • Galaxy S3
  • Galaxy S4 Zoom
  • Galaxy S4 Active
  • Galaxy S4 mini
  • Galaxy Mega 6.3
  • Galaxy Mega 5.8
  • Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)
  • Galaxy NotePRO (12.2)
  • Galaxy TabPRO (12.2/10.1/8.4)
  • Galaxy Tab4 (10.1)
  • Galaxy Tab4 (8.0)

So there you are.

Whatever Galaxy device you have in this list of 17 items will be compatible for your Samsung Gear Fit.

The Gear Fit is going to be available in interchangeable wrist bands with dynamic colors such as Orange and Mocha and the more standard Black and Grey.

The device is scheduled to be released by April of this year but Samsung has not yet confirmed the pricing details.
