Top 10 Happiest Country Ranked

By on

Denmark ?has once again been declared as the world?s happiest country, according to the 2016 World Happiness Report. The beautiful country has made it to the top of the list once again, while Burundi was unluckily found in the last spot. The report was based off a survey conducted in 158 countries.

Britain was expected to grab ?a good spot at the top but only landed on the 23rd, falling two places behind this year. The report involved factors such as equality, GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, corruption and independence.

The sustainable Development Solutions Network also conducted a study to examine how people evaluated their own happiness. It seems that happiness is subjective and it is hard to evaluate just from a scale of 1 to 10.

Denmark?s happiness score is because of its good life expectancy of 80 years old, high GDP per capita and free health care. The country took the top spot away from Switzerland, which was last years winner.
