Lenovo has unveiled their new ThinkPad series at CES 2016 with some exciting new features. Here?s what got us excited for Lenovo?s offering
ThinkPad X1 Yoga
According to alphr, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga has a powerful battery which lasts for 11 hours with IPS display. If you opt for an OLED screen, however, the battery life will go down to 9 hours. You can opt for the OLED screen if you want a bright and vivid display, take note however that a OLED screen produce over-saturated colors.
ThinkPad X1 Yoga can be used in laptop mode, tent mode like an inverted V and also stand mode. The keys are redesigned to give a better experience while typing.ThinkPad X1 Yoga has a smaller power supply which can charge the device within an hour. This is an improvement from Lenovo as their previous product, the X1 Carbon, had a heavy charger. The device also has a fingerprint reader to support Windows Hello.
Lenovo has chose ?NVMe SSD for better storage. Lenovo has adopted Intel Skylake processors from X1 Carbon. ThinkPad X1 Yoga sports a microSD slot and Lenovo?s updated OneLink+ connector.
ThinkPad X1 Tablet
The ThinkPad X1 Tablet has a Core m7 processor, PCIe NVMe and up to 16GB of memory. The 12-inch display provides a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440. This tablet is said to have a battery life of 15 hours of battery life, and can have a Pico projector add-on or a 3D camera attachment according to Digital Trends. The ThinkPad X1 tablet will hit the market next month with a price tag of $899.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon
According to Gadgets, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the world?s lightest 14-inch business Ultrabook. It sports customer-centric design improvements based on feedback. It also includes
increased memory and storage capacity, and an improved connectivity. The Thinkpad X1 Carbon features a Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE modem with 4G LTE advanced carrier aggregation to support better connectivity.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre X1 AIO
It’s believed that The Lenovo ThinkCentre X1 AIO will be the thinnest among Lenovo laptops. The Lenovo ThinkVision X1 has an anti-glare 23.8-inch display and it is the first monitor to receive the TUV Eye-Comfort certification. The product will sport a 27-inch UltraHD edge-to-edge anti-glare
display and houses USB type C port.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X260
This product has an excellent battery which will allow you to work for 21 hours. It will be a 12-inch Ultrabook.
