The 100 Season 4 cast will have two new additions and the show promises that these new Grounders will be instant fan faves.
The two new cast members are revealed to be Kenza and Hugo. Kenza is said to be committed to lead a religious life, who has given up her sword, while Hugo will be the first novice in the upcoming season, according to TV Line?s Michael Ausiello. His character is also described to be physically intimidating but has the natural instincts of a leader.
Ausiello added that Hugo will be pretty ?torn up over all of the atrocities he committed under ALIE?s control.? Kenza, on the other hand, is slightly younger than Hugo and is a more ?devout? Grounder.
Meanwhile, the major changes that fans can expect in the upcoming season are the change in surroundings and the shift in power, Melty writes. Upon entering the City of Light, and losing the control of A.L.I.E., the Grounders and the Sky People found themselves in the same boat at the end of the third season. We lost numerous characters last season, including fan favorite, Lexa, and the new faces to be introduced will hopefully fill in the void.
We are yet to see what kind of impact the two new characters will make in the upcoming season but they do make an interesting pair. One of the big questions coming into the fourth season is about A.L.I.E?s kill switch that Clarke pulled and resulted to the destruction of the City of Light as well. What will happen to our characters as they enter the city in ruins? More threat looms as both Grounders and the Sky People struggle with the same situation.
The 100 Season 4 will premiere sometime in 2017. In the meantime, you can watch out for upcoming updates from their San Diego Comic Con panel happening this July 22.
