The popular Mythbusters trio Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara are back in the game for Netflix’s White Rabbit Project. The new unscripted series’ first season will premiere on December 9, 2016.

Netflix released the official trailer for White Rabbit Project on November 28, 2016. The trailer provided a probable sneak peek to some of the show’s episodes.

Netflix describes the show as “The coolest tech. The weirdest weapons. The craziest escapes. Three science-loving sleuths put them under the microscope. Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara rank history’s greatest inventions, heists and more in this series from the producers of ‘MythBusters’.”

IS THIS MYTHBUSTERS 2?

Unfortunately, no. But still, expect to relive the old science series since the White Rabbit Project is being produced by Behind Productions. The Emmy-nominated show Mythbusters was also produced by Beyond Productions until March 6, 2016, the date when the series ended.

According to the show’s synopsis on the official site of Netflix, “Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara rank history’s greatest inventions, heists and more in this series from the producers of “MythBusters.”

Byron, one of the main stars, also emphasized that there will be no busting of myths on their upcoming show. For old time’s sake, will Mythbusters’ main stars Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman appear on Netflix’s new show?
