Google recently released its new flagship phones Pixel and Pixel XL. However, as early as now, there are already complaints from customers regarding the shipping time. Reports revealed that Verizon is taking too long to deliver the ordered phones. Question is, how can you have the phone as soon as possible?
Even in the past years, Google already faced several issues regarding its handset distribution. Today, it seems to be the same as reports revealed that its official retailer is shipping the product months after the order is made.
According to GSMArena, if you order today a Google Pixel XL 32GB model on Verizon, you would receive it on January 11, 2017. For the 128GB model, you would have it on January 13. That is a month and a half from now which is obviously a long shipping time.
So, what could be the solution to this problem? It seems like the best way for you to avoid the delay is go to the nearest Verizon store in your area. If you are lucky enough, they may have Google Pixel and Pixel XL in stock. But if there is none, you have no other choice but to order online.
Meanwhile, despite the delays, critics still consider the release of Google’s flagship phones a success. Although they are not competing with Apple’s sales, the new phones are having a favorable response from the smartphone industry.
Moreover, Forbes mentioned that Pixel and Pixel XL are meeting analysts’ sales expectations for the final quarter of this year. This alone is an indication of how great Google’s flagship phones are doing. Sales of these new handsets are also expected to go higher as consumers tend to look for a new brand aside from Apple and Samsung.
