Steins Gate 0 Update: Game Launches; Movie Release Date Coming Soon?

Steins Gate 0 Update

Earlier this year, the publishers of the first Steins Gate for Europe and North America, PQube, confirmed that Steins Gate 0 will be released this month on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The said game was recently launched in Australia and Europe this November 25. While in North America, Steins Gate 0 will hit the shelves on November 29.

Fans can also get their hands on a collector’s edition called Amadeus Edition. The special will be sold by Rice Digital and will highlight the world of scientist Okabe Rintaro, who fell in love with Kurisu but was unable to save her. Rintaro had to endure the consequences for his actions.

New Updates

GameNGuide reports that the game’s storyline involves Rintaro giving up on time travel, his research and his friends. His actions now are said to pose serious dangers to the world.

Additional characters to grace Steins Gate 0 are Suzuha, Farris, Mayuri, Daru, Moeka and Luka. They are the ones who will help bring back Rintaro to his usual self and hopefully, help him end his depression.

GameSpew’s Mark Sammut says that, “Steins Gate 0 is an easy recommendation for players that enjoyed the first visual novel and want to see what could have happened had certain events turned out differently. It is a well-written adventure, with a great sense of tension and brilliantly-written characters.”

The Movie Coming to North America?

The anticipated Steins Gate movie is officially coming to the West this 2017. FUNimation announced the release of Steins Gate The Movie: Load Region of Deja Vu.
