SpaceX Explosion Cause: Investigation on Falcon 9 Rocket

SpaceX:

Elon Musk’s major project is about to give its report about the SpaceX explosion cause that happened on one of their Falcon 9 rockets. According to reports, the company is all set to present its evidence on their claims pertaining to the fuelling procedure of the rocket.

Musk, the CEO of Space Exploration Technologies Corp., said this is by far the most complicated problem they have had to face in the history of SpaceX. The company’s spokesperson also said “SpaceX can confirm that in preparation for today’s static fire, there was an anomaly on the pad resulting in the loss of the vehicle and its payload. Per standard procedure, the pad was clear and there were no injuries.”

The organization hopes to be able to deliver the SpaceX explosion cause report in the early part of December in front of federal investigators. The investigation of the SpaceX Falcon 9 explosion is a joint effort by SpaceX and the government. The company hopes to be able to clear the issue in time for the NASA deal to take effect.

SpaceX and NASA

Just recently, the company landed a $112 million contract from NASA. The contract includes the company’s services in providing NASA with an exploration of the Earth’s bodies of water; their measurement and the rate by which their tides change. It’s a big challenge for SpaceX and the project is expected to launch in 2021.

SpaceX has been the center of attention after one of its rockets; the Falcon 9 rocket, exploded in one of Florida’s space launch pads. Authorities quickly asked for an explanation on the incident. The company thinks the timeline given to them has been very short. But if you think about it, it’s rather a blessing putting things into perspective after the NASA deal.

A clearance will also deem Spacex’s Falcon 9 rockets safe and capable to provide services for NASA.

Meanwhile, SpaceX’s future innovation could be about providing broadband connection using the 4,000 plus satellites orbiting the space. While this project has not been confirmed yet, news revealed that the company has already applied for approval.
