Samsung Galaxy S7 with its powerful unparalleled processing speed is likely to take the smartphone market by storm when it releases in early 2016.
The AnTuTu benchmark results that were leaked by a source in China suggest a new powerful Galaxy S7 model says a Christian Post report. The smartphone model SM-G9300 believed to be Samsung S7 scored a record breaking score of 103,692 running Samsung’s Exynos 8990 SoC. This is way higher than newest chip by Huawei, Kirin 950 which scored 65000 in the benchmark test. The Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8990 processor is built on 14nm FinFET fabrication process and features custom designed CPU based on 64 bit ARMv8 architecture. Galaxy S7 will be released in two versions one featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and the other Samsung Exynos 8990. The phone will feature 4GB RAM and come with 32GB and 64GB internal memory.
The rumours suggest Samsung S7 will come in two display sizes one with 5.2 inch and the other with 5.8 inch display size. We can also expect 4K resolution displays since Sony launched its Z5 premium model with 4K. Samsung had unveiled its BRITECELL camera technology earlier this month. The camera module for the smartphone will now be 17 percent slimmer and feature improvements in taking images in low light conditions. According to KnowYourMobile Samsung is teaming up with Sony to use IMX 300 23MP camera that comes in Xperia Z5 series.Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a pressure sensitive touch screen technology similar to 3D Touch that is available in Apple’s iPhone 6S. Samsung is vying for Synaptics ClearForce technology in its new Galaxy S7. The S7 will also allow memory expansion by MicroSD cards
S7 is slated to be released in Q1 of 2016 but no announcements regarding the release date have been made by Samsung. According to IBTimes several rumours hint Galaxy S7 will release on January 19 after being unveiled at CES 2016. Others suggest a late February release which coincides with the Mobile World Congress meet.
