New 360 Chip Not Necessarily A Slim Redesign
I'm sure you've seen the leaked pics of the new 360 motherboard. These pics show a combined GPU/CPU. Many are speculating that this is the makings of a slim 360. 2 years ago Microsoft promised 3 new board redesigns. They promised the Falcon, Jasper and then the 3rd iteration would be Valhalla. There was also one called an Opus but there was no change in the hardware, it was a refurbish.

ATLONA Releases USB Powered VGA To HDMI Converter
ATLONA has released an HDMI converter for VGA monitor output. The nice thing about this new adapter is it connects to your stereo headset for sound and USB for power. Now I know a lot of laptops have the ability built in to just connect an adapter but for those of you running a netbook and want to connect to that nice HDTV in your home, this is a nice and easy fix. MVIX Introduces New HDMI Splitter
MIVX has launched a new HDMI splitter allowing you to take a single HDMI source and display it on up to four LCD’s simultaneously, i don’t know whether this mean’s one picture on four screens or four screens making one bigger screen. 60gb Playstation 3 Systems Freezing Up During Final Fantasy XIII Gameplay
Over at the Playstation Blog there are reports of 60gb PS3’s freezing up during FFXIII gameplay. Not only has this been reported on the boards but a few people I know who are playing the game are freezing up. One right after a boss battle. If you have a 60gb PS3 and are experiencing this problem, please report it to Sony immediately.
