The latest NBA 2K17 roster update has just gone live! With the initial rush from the start of the NBA season now behind us, it’s time to take a look at how the overall ratings have been shaken up. Here’s a list of noteworthy risers and fallers.
Anthony Davis, 94 Overall (+3) – No surprises here. The Pelicans’ young superstar has been stuffing the stat sheet at a historic rate since the season began. Of all the players rated 90 or above before the patch, he’s the one who’s gained the most with this update.
Jimmy Butler, 90 Overall (+2) – Chicago Bulls forward Jimmy Butler enters the 90 overall club after his sizzling start to the season. He’s averaging 25.8 points, 4.1 assists, and 6.6 rebounds with PER of 29.39.
Joel Embiid, 83 Overall (+3) – After missing his first two years due to injury, Sixers center Joel Embiid is wasting no time, showing doubters why he deserved to be drafted No. 1.
Tarik Black, 75 Overall (+5) – The young Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the surprises of the early season, and the strong play of youngsters like Black is a reason why. He’s tied with Glenn Robinson III and Nik Stauskas for the highest improvement in this update.
Draymond Green, 88 Overall (-2) – When the season started, a lot of players noted how the Golden State Warriors were the first team in 2K history to have four 90+ rated players. That isn’t the case anymore. Green’s numbers are down across the board, so he gets knocked out of the 90 overall club.
Tony Parker, 77 Overall (-3) – The Spurs are off to their usual strong start, but their talismanic point guard is definitely starting to show his age.
Karl-Anthony Towns, 87 Overall (-1) – Many thought Towns’ 88 rating to start the season was a tad bit too high for a 2nd year player. After his team’s poor start, he gets his overall chipped off a little.
