With the release of the AsbestOS (Linux) installer yesterday by developer Kmeaw, we weren’t sure if some of you may have missed the release of his LV2 Patcher v9, which compliments the AsbestOS installer. So, we’re giving it a proper release. Grab it in the download link.

Kmeaw has now released version 8 of his LV2 patcher. This version adds support for the syscall 36 payload and Waninkoko’s custom firmware v3.55 v2.

Developer JaiCraB has released an interesting patch for those who want to block the PS3 system from looking for the Blu-ray drive during a firmware upgrade. Also, if are still using those USB jailbreak devices (X3Max, Minimus, Teensy++, etc) to downgrade your PS3 by putting it into Service/Factory Mode, it may be a good idea to use this patch so that you don’t lose any Blu-ray movie playback feature.
Kmeaw has now released version 8 of his LV2 patcher. However, this version is just a beta version for 3.56 spoofing which is not working yet.

It was known that Kmeaw had a V6 of this LV2 patcher, but now it is official. His package link has been updated to include it as a download. As of right now, we are uncertain about what this latest version does. It is possible that it is to fix some known issues or even increase the compatibility of some backup games. The changelog is shown below.
Developer Kmeaw has been busy fixing up this LV2 patcher application—used for running PS3 game backups–and now he’s ready to show off version 3 of the patcher. This release resolve a few issues surrounding crashes.
Developer Kmeaw has updated his LV2 patcher to include an option for adding your own payload to this patcher. Hermes’ payloads are currently not compatible, so you’ll have to stick with the PL3 payloads.
